It's been sooooo long since I last updated!

And now it's already spring!!! March!!! And my journey is kind of coming to an end already... Cause it's only a little less than 5 months left!

I'll try to update on news a little.

During new year's I went to Kyoto and Osaka. Not alone. My friend from Germany came here!!! OMG, I was sooo happy!
She stayed for 3 weeks! And those 3 weeks were over way to quickly.... T___T

Kyoto was amazing! It's really different from Tokyo! The houses, roads, language... food! (The food *.*)

Osaka is even worse... The people are just about crazy there! The way they talk is kind of intimidating... oO

But it was fun anyway and I'm glad my friend came! I was missing her so much! And I'm missing everyone else...

So........

It's great news that another friend is coming soon!! Yay! :D
And I'm soooo looking forward to it!

Anyway, there's more still coming up...

I'll talk about it later, since none of it is confirmed yet. But wish me good luck anyway!

Niaaa~

Hey guys!

This month was pretty busy... As always :D

I had a lot of work and then in the middle of everything I caught a cold... So these days I'm spending my free time in my bed, covering in warm blankets and running the heater non-stop (almost :P).

I'll write another entry that is for friends only, so if you want to read it, you have to register and friend me!
It doesn't cost anything but some of your time and hopefully I'm worth that :D

See ya!

So I've been informed people are waiting for me to write something...
So I'm gonna write more (I hope).

I'll start with some stuff you should know, before you actually come to Japan.
And I will continue with some things you should really take with you, whther you're on a short trip or planning to stay as long as I do or longer.

Japanese TV has 12 channels. No music channel. And usually not all the channels are working. Depending on your location.
Japan's washing maschines work ONLY with cold water.
They don't use electric range here... So basically my food kinda ends up being burnt on one side... T___T
Food is sold in S-size here. In the supermarket, in restaurants. Everything is ... so minimalist!
Going out here is pretty expensive... So if you don't want to spend too much money just to explore stores, look for someone who knows good clubs to recommend (clubs fitting your interests... So I might not be the right person).

Bring your own deodorant! They, too, are kinda minimalist and really expensive here. As well as shampoo and that stuff.
Bring some chocolate! (if you like it). Cause it's expensive here...
If you have big/large feet (as do I, compared to most japanese girls) bring enough shoes. Most shoes here are sold in sizes: S M L and LL (I fit in LL, which is around german size 40) and the LL sized ones are very limited or not sold at all.

Well, this is the small negative side of Japan and especially central Tokyo.
I guess if you go a little ouside of the centre you will find cheaper and larger stuff (maybe except for the shoes).

Oh, and the toasts here are... wow!
And the meat is few but very very good!

Well, that's it for now :D

Short summary in German:

Man sollte genau wissen, was man sucht, bevor man unnötig Geld ausgibt.
Schuhe SIND kleiner hier.

Nia

FINALLY!!!

I'm writing something again! How have you guys been?

I'm reaaaaally sorry for the delay! But I had sooo much to do! I had work, other work, friends and last weekend I moved.

My new home is in Kanagawa ken. It's not in central Tokyo, but very silent and calm.
I like it. And it takes only 15 to 20 Minutes to Shibuya, so it's inconvenient.

I'm living in the second floor in a family's house. I have a room of my own and another one where the family stores things they don't need.
The family are a mother and two daughters, by the way.
One is 22 and the other one 15. So young! haha

I also have an own kitchen. And bathroom. And toilet. And laundry maschine. And a tiny balcony.
So basically it's like an own apartment. And it's pretty cheap, too!
And I'm allowed to bring friends and party and all that (though not too long... well, the walls are thin in Japan, ne)

I'm also getting better at reading, actually. I guess you can imagine that I learned talking in japanese pretty quickly, but the thing with reading is a little bit more of a chalange...
I guess it will work out somehow eventually... :D

So, what else?
I've been out from time to time, met a lot of people, but I will tell details only to individuals, friends.
Cause some stuff gets too private haha

Btw. my room is pretty japanese style. And I like that! It gives that certain... vibe that is calling "you're in Japan, dude!!"

Well, it's 13:20 now. The television here is kind of boring, I gotta admit.
They don't have MTV or anything here, usually. Japan has 12 channels. Only... They do have music shows, but no channel that features music only.
And also the shows are kind of all the same. It's a little disappointing, actually, but whatever. I have my computer and finally my own itnernet, so now I can watch internet TV. Yay! :D

I found that I love "Anman". Better look that one up on wikipedia or something, cause I can't really explain what exactly that is!
And convenience stores are really the best! Just imagine you come home after 9 or even 10 in the evening! You can still get almost ANYTHING!
And they have snickers and KitKat here! ~.~

I'm swooning haha

Sundays I'm working in a British Pub in Shibuya. They serve food, too and it's pretty good. The Pub itself is really neatly decorated. The oss seems to really like Britain haha
So if anyone comes here, ask me for a map and visit!

Another thing (and this is kind of embarassing): I find the way to the station every morning.  And I get lost on the way back every evening. This is sooooo..... T____T Someone get me a map of this place...

Well, I have no idea what else to write... Cause somehow a lot happaned, but I cannot really filter out what I should write and what not... so if you have any questions or anything, just tell me, ask me, whatever!

See you!

Nia

Ich habe heute mal keine Lust das Ganze noch mal auf Deutsch zu schreiben, also Deutschis: lernt Englisch! :P
